Objective
To increase the income, create employment opportunities and improve the quality of life of beekeepers through the production, processing, quality and marketing of honey products by the application of modern and advanced technology and Capacity Building.
Objective of the Project
- To increase and improve productivity by using various honey processing modern technologies in production and collection of honey.
- To increase consumer awareness about the beneficial aspects/qualities/processing of honey and honey products and contribute to increase the demand for honey and honey products.
- To increase the sale of safe honey by increasing the supply and marketing of pure honey.
- To increase sustainable beekeeping and crop production by increasing crop cultivation.
- To enhance capacity development of bee keepers.
Project Areas:
23 upazilas of Khagracxhari, Rangamati, Bandarban, Tangail, Gazipur, Sirajganj, Pabna & Natore distrcits.
Total Beneficiary:
800 Beekeepers (600 new and 200 existing)
